Since 2003, we have been known as Pug Rescue of Florida (a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization, EIN: 14-1866385) and have been dedicated to finding caring, safe and loving permanent homes for rescued, displaced and homeless pugs and pug mixes regardless of age or condition. In 2021 we saw a need to help pugs in Georgia and we obtained our license as an official Georgia foster/rescue organization.
We are proud of our 20 years of experience and are happy we have been able to expand our reach to help more pugs in need. To celebrate our growth, we will now also be recognized as Pug Rescue of Florida & Georgia (PRFG).
We operate through an organized network of volunteers and sustain our operations through both fundraising efforts and the generous financial support of private individuals and commercial entities.
Pug Rescue of Florida & Georgia rescues approximately 200 pugs/pug mixes each year and incurs over $200,000 annually in expenses to save the lives of these precious pugs.
Pug Rescue of Florida is licensed to help pugs in the states of Florida and Georgia.
